I’m Michael Rogers, investor of the LitterBin brand. When I go boating with friends we usually have a few cold beverages, snacks, sandwiches etc and we would place the empty containers in the baitwell. When it came time to clean the boat it became tedious transferring the waste from the baitwell to recycle bins or a trash can. A better method was needed, and the desired features were.

A five-gallon bucket seemed to be the logical choice. I found several drawbacks to the bucket. The trash inside would blow out, it would spill trash all over the deck if it tipped over and it was not big enough. After searching the internet, a suitable product could not be found so necessity became the mother of invention.

After using the LitterBin on the boat, it was obvious that having one in the back of the truck made sense, so litter would not blow out of it as well. Then it became obvious that having one inside the vehicle would be beneficial for receipts, straw wrappers, candy wrappers etc. With that, the LitterBin Brand was born.
